Star Wars Episode 7 to Be Shot in Ireland? Filming Starts in November 2013!

A few weeks ago it was confirmed that the production of Star Wars: Episode VII will take place in the United Kingdom. Now the Irish site joe.ie is reporting that J.J. Abrams and his company Bad Robot have met with “top Irish film execs”. Find out more after the jump.

Here’s a direct quote from the site:

According to The Sunday World, JJ Abrams is keen to shoot some scenes in Britain and Ireland and has been in contact with the Irish Film Board.

Reports are suggesting that filming will begin sometime around November, while various British media claim that five locations in Britain have also been earmarked as possibilities for the flick.

A few weeks ago Episode 7 producer Bryan Burk suggested that filming will start in early 2014. A shift with 2-3 months is pretty big so for now take the start of filming date with a grain of salt.
