My guess is some irrelevant prop. Like a hair wig, a boot, or maybe a piece of paper that says Star Wars Episode VII on the cover.

While I’d actually like that, do you know how much time it would take to write 4 erroneous scripts in full?

This is the very most that will happen between Thursday and May the 4th: at most, if we’re ever so lucky, another very minor update. No significant information, like the title of the new movie or any cast info.
Disney has released, on their Episode VII news feed, an update (sometimes two in a row) every 3-4 months.
Good observation. When Bob Iger said, “It’s very, very early” back in March, I don’t think he was lying. While I believe the film will make the December 18 release date, the production still has the luxury of time on its side. They actually don’t have to shoot until July or August 1st at the latest.

Well this time it isn’t an Abrams Mystery Box, it’s a Bad Robot Mystery Box. Still I doubt it means anything, and yes, the PR for EPVII has been handled atrociously. If it ends up backfiring, we’ll hear a lot of apologies, and that thought just makes me cringe.
Unfortunately the PR’s gunna work, because we’re all suckers. I’m betting the entire ST is going to be handled this way.
