Updated with High-Res Photos. Children’s Products Featuring Star Wars: The Force Awakens Art

(images removed by request)

Several photos showing children’s items branded with art from The Force Awakens leaked online. The main characters in the series as expected are Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron in addition to the three droids (C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8) and Chewbacca.

The images leaked from the catalogue of the the European company JNH, licensed in the children’s furniture category.

The most interesting detail from the photos is Finn’s new blaster rifle which looks really menacing. It doesn’t look like the regular E-11 Stormtrooper blaster rifle:

We’ve already seen the Kylo Ren art below, which leaked just a few days before Celebration:

You probably noticed C-3PO’s dark arm. That’s something that one of our Cantina members revealed almost 2 months ago together with the name of the desert planet Jakku (mentioned HERE). Now in the next image the left arm is no longer dark. It’s the other one. So either they flipped the image or the arm looks that way because of the shadows. You be the judge.

And more higher-res images:

I actually like 3PO’s new arm. I’m sure that’ll be explained in the new canon somewhere.

I think that also. The first time I saw C-3PO’s new red arm I thought: “They will explain this in the upcoming Journey to The Force Awakens: C-3PO comic”.

“slaughter”? It’s not actual slaughter. You are using that term figuratively. You do however LITERALLY slaughter those that are just as innocent and just as vulnerable as the children, just because they are a different species, and simply for palate pleasure. You are a bad person.

Where us the Darth Plagueis chair
Be prepared StarWars fans there is a reason why we haven’t seen him yet in any if the previous films, cartoons, etc. there was a reason George inserted him in the prequel trilogy if was pre planned. These new movies will make the prequels much more interesting.

Do you really think that they would advertise a character with major spoilers for the plot before the release of the film, especially considering how secretive J. J. Abrams typically is? (That is presuming that Darth Plagueis is this Uber character, which I think he could be.)

  • May 1, 2015 at 8:56 pm

yeagh Plagueis should come back. one of the best star wars books out there and one of the best scenes in Episode 3 is when we hear Palpatine tell the story. There must be a reason his name is mentioned. I also like the fact that in the book he was still alive during the events played out in the Phantom Menace and that Palpatine killed him after he got elected chancellor. He truly was the ultimate puppet master and it was he he came up with the plan to take over the republic.

One thing i wanna mention that could be important as to why Plagueis could be the ultimate puppet master in this new trilogy ( if he truly cheated death that is) is that Plagueis is a Muun and was a Magister of the Intergalactic Banking Clan making him one of the wealthiest persons in the galaxy. Meaning he could finance the First Order’s need for new weapons and ships after the Empire’s defeat over Endor.

it’s quite sad that even in 2015 white people who clearly are still uncomfortable with John Boyega as the new face of SW still have not learned the true meaning of STAR WARS, which is that white supremacy (The Empire/first order) cannot be destroyed without people(stormtroopers)defecting from it and fighting against it, instead of keeping it in place to control the galaxy.
